The Vietnamese Party Central Committee expressed delight at great achievements that the Chinese people have reaped over the past years under the sound leadership of the Communist Party of China Central Committee led by General Secretary Xi Jinping. 

The message said: “We believe that the CPC’s 19th Congress will devise important policies and sound orientations for the Chinese people to successfully achieve the goal of developing a well-off society on the occasion of the 100th founding anniversary of the CPC, towards the goal of building a modern, strong, democratic, civilized and harmonized socialist country in celebration of the 100th founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. Vietnam and China are two close neighboring countries with a long-standing tradition of friendship. The Vietnamese and Chinese Party stood side by side to overcome challenges in the past struggle for national liberation in the two countries. The Party, State and people of Vietnam always remember valuable support of the Party, State and people of China. Vietnam always values the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China for basic and long-term interests of the two countries’ people as well as for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the wider world."
