The Dutch government on Tuesday pledged 10.5 million USD in extra humanitarian aid to Gaza following a UN call. This aid will be spent on basic necessities such as water and medical care. The Netherlands once again affirmed that Israel has the right to self-defense after attacks by Hamas, however, Israel's response must comply with international principles which say civilians and humanitarian aid workers should never be the target of violence.

Acting Spanish Foreign Affairs Minister Jose Manuel Albares, announced an increase in humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, starting with a package worth 1.06 million USD.

In an article posted on his personal Facebook page, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the need to prioritize the well-being and safety of all individuals affected by the conflict in the Gaza Strip. Last week, Mr. Ibrahim announced 2.1 million USD in aid to the Palestinians.

Spokesperson for the United Nations Human Rights Office Ravina Shamdasani said Tuesday that Israel's blockade of Gaza and order to evacuate people from northern Gaza could be considered an act of violence. The forced relocation of civilians is classed as a crime against humanity.
