(VOVWORLD) - The leaders of many Asian and South American countries sent their congratulations to new American President Joe Biden and expressed their wish to cooperation with his administration.

Indian Prime Minister twitted his warmest congratulations to Joe Biden on his inauguration as President of the United States of America. He said he looks forward to working with Biden to strengthen India-US strategic partnership.

Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide wrote in a tweet in English  that Japan and the United States are allies tied firmly by bonds and shared universal values.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in congratulated Joe Biden on his inauguration as US president saying the Seoul-Washington alliance will grow even stronger via cooperation on various pending issues.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador supports US president Joe Biden's goals of economic revitalization, immigration policy reform, and containing the Covid-19 pandemic.
