(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam recorded 8,681 new infections of COVID-19 on Monday, a drop of 1,357 cases against the previous day and the lowest over the past month.
HCM city reported the highest number of new cases (5,171), followed by Binh Duong province (1,410). Hanoi detected 9 new infections.
Vietnam has confirmed 695,744 cases so far. 464,326 patients have recovered and 17,305 have died.
14 provinces and cities have gone through 14 days with no new cases including Hoa Binh, Hai Phong and Hai Duong.
More than 34.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered nationwide.
