(VOVWORLD) - The Health Ministry announced 37 new infections of COVID-19 Saturday noon including 36 domestic cases.
None was in HCM city which detected an all-time high of 667 COVID-19 cases over a 24-hour period, from 6am Thursday to 6am Friday.
The latest local cases were detected in Hung Yen (11), Ha Tinh (7), Bac Giang (6), Long An (5), Bac Ninh (4), Hai Phong (2), and Can Tho (1).
18 of which were recorded in quarantine facilities or locked down areas.
On Saturday morning, only 15 new cases were reported.
Vietnam’s total count of COVID-19 infections has surpassed 15,000 including 74 fatal cases.
