COVID-19: Vietnam confirms seven imported cases, 1,358 in total
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam on Wednesday reported seven imported cases of COVID-19, raising the overall number of active cases nationwide to 1,358, while the recoveries total 1,201.
Among the new patients, six are Vietnamese citizens who returned to Vietnam from Russia, France, the US and the Philippines and one is an Indian national. All the new patients were put into quarantine immediately upon arrival.
The same day, six more coronavirus patients were declared free from the novel coronavirus, raising the total national recoveries to 1,201.
There have been 35 people dying from complications related to the disease. Most of the fatalities were made up of elderly individuals or those suffering from serious underlying health conditions.
