Cuban leaders congratulate Vietnam on 49 years of national reunification
(VOVWORLD) - Cuban Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, on Tuesday extended congratulations to the people and Government of Vietnam on the occasion of Vietnam’s 49th anniversary of national reunification (April 30).
In a message posted on social media, the head of the Cuban Government emphasized that this event paved the way for peace and unity in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, the Permanent member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, Roberto Morales Ojeda, said that Vietnam's national reunification is a miracle achieved through the courage of the people, the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh, and the steadfastness of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He noted that the socialist path chosen by Vietnam has brought peace and development to the country.
Ms. Rosario Pentón Díaz, Principal of the Ñico López Higher Party School, said that national heroism led Vietnam to the 1975 victory which remains a valuable lesson for the world today.
