Czech Prime Minister begins official visit to Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala arrived in Hanoi on Thursday, starting an official three-day visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The visit demonstrates the respect and desire of the two countries’ leaders to strengthen traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation. It’s Prime Minister Fiala's first trip to Asia since taking office in late 2021 and the first visit by a Czech government leader to Vietnam in 15 years.

Prime Minister Fiala is scheduled to holds talks with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; witness the signing ceremony of cooperation documents of the two countries; pay a courtesy visit to President Vo Van Thuong; and attend the Vietnam-Czech Republic Business Forum.
