(VOVWORLD) - The 2022 East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade, Tourism and Investment International Fair is underway in Da Nang city, attracting more than 230 domestic and foreign enterprises.

On display are electronics, high-tech equipment, household appliances, furniture, and consumer goods, as well as tourism, logistics, education, healthcare, and real estate services.
Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Trung Chinh, said at the opening ceremony, “Since 2007, this annual event has permitted localities along the East-West Economic Corridor to promote their economic potential and seek investment opportunities. The number of participating localities and cities has increased 36% and the number of participating businesses has increased 40% since 2020.”
The Trade Fair, which will run through next Monday, promotes friendship, mutual understanding, and trust between countries along the Corridor.
