(VOVWORLD) - Australia's online newspaper Micenet has recently praised central Vietnam as an emerging destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) events.

Thanks to the increase in international and domestic flights to and from Da Nang, the central region is experiencing rapid development and becoming a popular choice for MICE events.
Located near two UNESCO World Heritage sites - Hoi An, about 30km southeast, and Hue, 100km northwest - the central city has the potential to become a favorite destination for visitors.
There is also a wide selection of luxury and five-star international and local hotels situated both in the city and along a 60km stretch of beach.
Citing various hotels and resorts that are well-equipped to host MICE events, Micenet suggested that InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is a typical MICE destination.
The media also highlighted other hotels with event capabilities, including Pullman, Furama, Crowne Plaza, Hyatt Regency, Vinpearl, and the Sheraton Grand. APEC Park and Ariyana Convention Centre were also recommended for hosting various types of events.
