Da Nang University produces remote body temperature scanning system

(VOVWORLD) - Researchers of the University of Da Nang in central Vietnam have produced a remote body temperature scanning system to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

The system, which includes an infrared thermometer and a webcam, is connected to the internet. 

“We want to create an effective tool to prevent the spread of Covid-19. We’re willing to transfer the technology to any manufacturer,” said Bui Van Ga, former Deputy Minister of Education and Training and Head of the research team.

The system costs much less than imported products.
