The Pandora Production Vietnam factory is poised to become the jewelry conglomerate's third production facility worldwide and its maiden endeavor outside Thailand. The facility is projected to generate 7,000 employment opportunities for silversmiths and aims to churn out 60 million jewelry pieces annually. The products made in the Vietnam factory will account for one third of Pandora’s global productivity.

According to the Danish Embassy, the Vietnam factory is set to operate in alignment with the highest eco-friendly standards across its value chain. A hallmark feature of this endeavor is its reliance on 100% renewable energy sources, emblematic of Pandora's dedication to green transformation and carbon neutrality.

A Pandora representative said that the group has carefully considered 27 countries before choosing Vietnam’s Binh Duong province to locate its factory. One of the reasons is that Vietnam has a diverse history of craftsmanship, thus helping the business find skilled silversmiths and artisans.

In addition, Binh Duong and Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP 3) have good infrastructure. Binh Duong is near Tan Son Nhat airport, making it convenient for the factory to transport products for exports. At the same time, the Pandora group has received strong support from the provincial government and VSIP3’s management board.

Before Pandora, LEGO Group, another big name of Denmark, has invested 1.3 billion USD in a carbon-neutral factory in the VSIP 3.
