Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc pays Tet visit to Hai Duong

(VOVworld) – On Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid a Tet visit to the Field Crops Research Institute in Gia Loc district, Hai Duong province, where he was briefed on the institute’s achievements during the past year. Mr. Phuc acknowledged the institute’s efforts to create many high-yield plant varieties to boost the value of Vietnamese agricultural exports. He asked the institute to focus on varieties quickly adaptable to different regions of cultivation and to climate change.

Mr. Phuc also visited Hong Thai commune in Hai Duong province’s Ninh Giang district, where he offered incense at a memorial site dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh. He asked the local authorities and people to uphold their fine traditions and strive to further develop Hong Thai commune. On this occasion, he visited and presented gifts to teachers and students at Hong Thai preschool.
