Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh holds bilateral talks on the sidelines of WEF

(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh attended and spoke at a number of important discussions at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Friday. He also held a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the forum. On Thursday he met with the Princess of the Netherlands Maxima, the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Financial Inclusion, US Trade Representative Michael Froman, and Thai Deputy Prime Minister Devacula Pridiyathorn.

On the same day he met with Heineken’s Finance Director Hooft Graafland and James Barber, President of the US Company UPS, who hailed the potential of the Vietnamese market, particularly when Vietnam is completing negotiations of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.

They also expressed their hope for Vietnam’s support for their long-term investment and business in Vietnam.
