Deputy PM urges finetuning national statistical system on green economy
(VOVWORLD) -Building a national green economic sub-sector system is one of the Party and State’s major directions, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said at Monday’s meeting in Hanoi on promulgating the National Green Economic Sector System standards.

Mr. Ha asked the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to begin a study on a set of national green criteria to submit to the Prime Minister for promulgation and it will be a basis for classifying industries and economic sectors.
“The Ministry of Planning and Investment needs to complete the national statistical system on the green economy. It’s necessary to study and supplement a number of necessary statistical indicators including the emissions index per GDP. We must then make sets of statistics of public and private investment on green issues,” said Mr. Ha.
