(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Wednesday paid a New Year visit to Radio the Voice of Vietnam. The Deputy Prime Minister said that despite fluctuations in the world last year, Vietnam maintained macro-economic stability, ensure social security, improve people’s lives, strengthened national defense and security and defended national sovereignty. Phuc said these achievements were greatly attributed to mass media including Radio the Voice of Vietnam. Deputy Prime Minister Phuc praised VOV for improving the contents of programs and communication media, which have met the demands of listeners and audiences inside and outside the country. He particularly appreciated the VOV Traffic Channel for its influence on society. He sent New Year wishes to VOV reporters, editors, and staff as well as to VOV listeners and audiences.
