(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Education and Training has reviewed its implementation of a resolution on educational and examination renovation.

Speaking at the conference in Hanoi on Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam acknowledged the ministry’s correct view to renovate examination but called for an appropriate and fair roadmap for the society: “Examination reform must be comprehensive to cover curriculum, textbooks and teaching methodology. It’s logical to have a costly and painstaking examination if it encourages young people to learn and selects the right students to pursue higher education.”

The Ministry of Education and Training has proposed a secondary school examination of 2 compulsory papers of linguistics and math and 2 optional papers for public consultation.
