The Nghe An provincial museum opened exhibits themed “President Ho Chi Minh forever stays in the heart of Vietnamese citizens and international friends” and “Nghe An, the hero in the Ho Chi Minh era”. 500 documents and items on display teach visitors about Uncle Ho’s moral example and his revolutionary career.

Celebrations also took place abroad. An international seminar was held at Russia’s Saint Petersburg State University on Monday. Vietnamese and Russian scientists gave speeches on the historical role of President Ho Chi Minh.

A special art exchange involving Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand was held Monday in the Thai province of Nakhon Phanom. The event provided an opportunity for delegates to meet, enhance mutual understanding, and learn more about the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh in Laos and Thailand during the 1928-1929 period.

A web portal at hochiminh.vn was launched featuring information and stories about President Ho Chi Minh. The materials in Vietnamese and English are divided into different categories detailing his revolutionary career, moral example, pictures, videos, audio files, and a 3D museum.

Addressing the launch ceremony, Dinh The Huynh, head of the Party Central Committee's Communication and Education Commission, said: "I call on functional agencies of the Party’s Secretariat and  the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper to work more closely to strengthen monitoring, editing, and management to ensure accurate information and make the portal a reliable source for spreading the President’s thoughts and moral example."
