Donations to encourage poor people to pursue studies

(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh presented 13,500 USD contributed by the Vietnam Rubber Corporation’s staff for the Study Encouragement Fund of Long An province’s three poor districts during his 2-day working visit to the province.

Visiting the districts of Thanh Hoa, Duc Hue, and Can Giuoc, Binh said the fund aims not only to encourage local people to study, but also help nurture talents, and create equal opportunities for all children.

He asked the provincial and district authorities to pay more attention to study encouragement and facilitate favorable conditions for those in remote areas to attend school.
