(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang paid a Tet visit to Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province on Tuesday. He asked the local government to focus on production development and poverty reduction to fully tap the district’s potential.

He said farming economy, especially husbandry and plantation, should be expanded. Less competitive products must be replaced by agricultural products of local strengths to grasp opportunities in international integration. He said beneficiary families should get support for a joyful Tet holiday. The President also visited some historical relics and economic project sites in Ha Tinh.
