England celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's birthday

(VOVWORLD) -Britain celebrated the Trooping the Colour, the queen's annual birthday parade, on Saturday, with over 1,400 parading soldiers, almost 300 horses and 400 musicians taking part in the event. 

After the birthday parade, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, Prince William and his wife, Princess of Cambridge Catherine, Prince Harry and his wife, Princess of Sussex, who first appeared in public after giving birth to the prince, stood on Buckingham Palace's balcony to watch the parade fleet. Attending the birthday celebration were the two great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Thousands of British people gathered around the parade area and near St. James Park to witness the celebration of this annual Queen's birthday. Later, British people headed to Buckingham Palace to congratulate Queen Elizabeth II.
