EU launches “World Cities Vietnam” project
(VOVWORLD) -The European Union on Monday launched a project entitled “World Cities Vietnam” to promote the exchange of experience and best practice on regional and urban development policies.

Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are being paired with two European cities – Milan in Italy and Košice in Slovakia. World Cities is a 700,000 euro project funded by the European Union and managed by the Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission. Cooperation is based on the identification of pilot cities and the development of concrete actions including urban innovation and green technologies.
