(VOVworld) – The EU will be ready to respond to the triggering of Article 50 of UK Prime Minister Theresa May within 48 hours, said Friday by European Council President Donald Tusk.

He said that the EU are well-prepared for the whole procedure. EU leaders warned that negotiations would be tough. Belgium’s Prime Minister, Charles Michel said there would be difficult discussions on all subjects, especially on economics.
2-year negotiations to exit the EU can only begin when Article 50 of the Treaty of Lisbon is formally triggered by the UK.
