International experts on Monday said that the nuclear talks between P5+1 and Iran will not achieve a breakthrough. According to plan, on Saturday and Sunday, authorities of P5+1 (the 5 UN Security Council members plus Germany) and Iran will conduct expert-level talks in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Javier Solana, former top EU official, said Iranian authorities will not set many targets for this round of talk due to the influence of the general election. Gary Samore, former US Coordinator for Arms Control and Weapons of Mass Destruction, Proliferation, and Terrorism, said that since there exists a difference of negotiating purposes, the up-coming summit between P5+1 and Iran is not hopeful.
