(VOVworld) - President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Vu Xuan Hong praised the contributions of external relations and people-to-people exchanges to Hanoi’s development in 2014 at a conference in Hanoi on Monday to review last year’s operations of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO) and set out plans for this year. Hong asked the Hanoi branch to continue forging links with relevant agencies to further promote its activities and introduce Hanoi to international friends this year.

Le Hong Son, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, hailed the Hanoi Union for maintaining its connections with embassies and international organizations in Vietnam. Son urged the Hanoi Union to promote its achievements for the capital’s stronger development in 2015.
