(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam-Finland Friendship Organization held a meeting on Tuesday in Hanoi to mark  the 40^th anniversary of Vietnam-Finland diplomatic relations and Finland’s 96^th Independence Day on December 6^th.

Finnish ambassador to Vietnam Kimmo Lahdevirta expressed his pleasure as Vietnam-Finland relations have gained considerable achievements in forestry, clean water and environmental sanitation, which mainly accounts for Finland’s support to Vietnam. Ambassador Lahdevirta said Finland will do its best to shift from bilateral development cooperation into wider cooperation including organizing events to connect businesses between provinces and cities of Vietnam.
