(VOVworld) – A ceremony was held on Friday to inaugurate the 26 km section of the Noi Bai-Lao Cai expressway.

The section connects Soc Son district in Hanoi to Tam Duong district in Vinh Phuc province. In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai said this section will ease traffic flows between Hanoi, Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho provinces.

He asked the Ministry of Transport and the People’s Committees of Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, and Lao Cai provinces to settle pending problems and complete this project next year as scheduled.
