The intervention was carried out by doctors from Children’s Hospital 1 and Tu Du Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City after they learned that cardiac catheterization intervention in fetuses had highly favorable outcomes.

On February 10, the baby successfully breastfed and was transferred to a room with his mother until they were discharged from the hospital.

The cost of the procedure, approximately 4,100 USD, was covered by health insurance supplemented by a payment from Children’s Hospital 1.
