(VOVworld) - Children and other cartoon lovers now have one more wonderful opportunity. Thanh Giong cinema, belonging to the Vietnam Cartoon Ltd Company, has officially opened at 7 Tran Phu Street, Ba Dinh, Ha noi.

This is the first cartoon-only cinema in Vietnam. Dang Vu Thao, Chairman of the company’s executive board, told VOV:

“Since the early 2000s, the company has been concerned with not being able to introduce good Vietnamese animated movies to viewers. Filmmarkers like us always wish that our products could be delivered to domestic audiences. This is the first time ever the Vietnam Cartoon Ltd Company has had its own cinema. And also the first time in Vietnam’s film industry, there exists a cinema in a film studio”

Thao said that the cinema also plans to produce DVDs of animated movies to distribute in remote and mountainous areas.
