(VOVworld)-A book of memoirs of former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh, who was the only woman in the Paris Talks on ending American War in Vietnam, has been released. Madame Nguyen Thi Binh was one of the witnesses of the period of fierce struggle in the liberation of the south and the reunification of the country and contributed greatly towards it.

Her life attracted people with power, intelligence, spirit and fortitude.

She was Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of Delegations for the Peace Negotiations in Paris.

The 400-page book will tell of her life, her family, friends and love for the country. Madame Binh was speaking at the book launching ceremony in Hanoi on Tuesday:“Through the book, I hope to convey the thoughts and feelings of young Vietnamese in my generation during the glorious revolution. In retrospect, we all agree that this was the best time in our life in which we devoted wholeheartedly to the nation under the leadership of the Party and Ho Chi Minh.”
