According to the Vietnam-Korea Economic and Trade Forum 2022 in Hanoi on Tuesday attended by more than 400 Korean business people, South Korean businesses are likely to invest more in environment-friendly and climate change response projects in Vietnam. They will provide policy, financial, and technical solutions to promote digital transformation, sustainable development, and the transition to a green economy.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Truc Le, President of the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, stressed the need to adopt supportive policies for Korean small and medium enterprises to invest in Vietnam.

“We still have to find a flexible solution, while continuing to invest in planning and creating key areas to be able to attract Korean investors. The second point is traffic and infrastructure. I think we will have to make a regional economic plan, a plan that can greatly support the investment of Korean businesses and of other countries in the region,” Le said.
