Gala marks 45 years of Vietnam-Thailand friendship

(VOVWORLD) - A gala night to mark 45 years of bilateral diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Thailand and Thailand’s National Day was held on Friday at the Hanoi Opera House.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Ta Quang Dong told the event: "The art performance makes Vietnamese, Thai, and foreign audience better understand cultural values and similarity of Vietnam and Thailand. The show has strengthened cultural exchanges, tightened bilateral friendship, and contributed to the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership.”
A photo exhibition on the Thai and Vietnamese culture is being held at the Hanoi Opera House. This year two countries successfully organized a special online conference titled “Bilateral Culture and Creative Industry”. At a meeting of the Thailand-Vietnam Joint Committee on Bilateral Cooperation in November, both sides signed an agreement to extend an MOU on cultural exchange until 2026.
