GDP grows 5.33% in Q3

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s gross domestic product (GDP) in the third quarter of the year grew 5.33%, according to data released by the General Statistics Office on Friday.

Although the expansion is only higher than the growth rate in the same period in 2020 and 2021, in the 2011 to 2023 period, there is an upward trend of GDP in the first, second, and third quarter.

Foreign direct investment capital in Vietnam in the past 9 months totaled an estimated 16 billion USD, up 2.2% from last year, which is another positive sign. This is the greatest amount of foreign direct investment capital realized in 9 months in the past 5 years.
