Government pursues macroeconomic stability, inflation control, growth, economic balances
(VOVWORLD) -A resolution of the Government's April meeting on Monday requested stronger efforts to maintain macroeconomic stability, control inflation, boost growth, and ensure major balances of the economy.

The Government also urged ministries, sectors and localities to strive to achieve targets and fulfill the 2023 plan; focus on poverty reduction, social security, support for the poor and policy beneficiaries, and child protection; promote administrative reform; improve the business investment environment; and intensify digital transformation.
According to the resolution, Ministry of Planning and Investment was asked to assume the prime responsibility for submitting to the Government before May 25 the Resolution on tasks and solutions to remove difficulties for production and business; reviewing and advising on the modification of incentives to attract foreign direct investment amid the application of global minimum tax.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade was required to assume the prime responsibility for diversifying export markets, seeking and expanding new and potential markets; and promoting import and export activities through cross-border e-commerce.
The Government also requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to assume the prime responsibility for promoting tourism; effectively developing international tourist markets; and developing new, high quality and competitive tourism products for recovery and sustainable development.
