(VOVworld) – Hanoi has announced several policies to help workers returning from Libya to stabilize their lives. The city will give each worker 50 USD from the municipal budget. Those who borrowed money from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies will receive a 2-year extension to pay off their loan. The Hanoi municipal Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs will offer a loan of 1,000 USD to each worker to set up their own business. The loans, which will be taken from the National Fund for Job Creation, will have varied terms depending on the borrower’s purpose. 179 workers have returned to Hanoi from Libya because of escalating violence there.
