The exhibition, which opened on Wednesday, is part of activities to celebrate 50 years of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament and hosted by the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam and archive agencies of Russia, France, and the US. Jene Nicola Hujelo, director of the National Archives of France in Paris, said: “Some of the valuable documents preserved in China, Russia, the US, and Vietnam allow historians to make incontrovertible statements. All documents about President Ho Chi Minh preserved at the National Archives of France have been digitalized. We presented a copy to the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam in 2016. About 10,000 digitalized pages of documents about Ho Chi Minh are introduced at this exhibition.”

On this occasion a book titled “Ho Chi Minh: life and career from Vietnamese and international archives” was published in Vietnamese, English, French, and Russian. The book contains more than 100 documents related to Ho Chi Minh's life and revolutionary career currently preserved in the archives of Vietnam, the US, Russia, and France. The book and exhibition expand understanding of Ho Chi Minh, the man and his dedication to the causes of national liberation, peace, friendship, and the development and advancement of Vietnam and the world.
