Hanoi to extend walking streets in southern Old Quarter
(VOVWORLD) - Hoan Kiem district’s authorities said Thursday that beginning next Friday, walking streets in the southern part of the Old Quarter will be extended, connecting with the Hoan Kiem Lake area.

Eight more walking streets will be added on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 7PM to midnight in the summer, and from 6PM to midnight in the winter.
Household are encouraged to open shops to serve local residents and tourists. The Hoan Kiem District Pedestrian Space authorities do not allow business households to operate on the street.
