Hanoi’s culinary fair spotlights traditional fish sauce
(VOVWORLD) - Typical fish sauce-based dishes across Vietnam are being promoted at a culinary fair which opened in Hanoi on Friday.

The event, part of the National Target Program on building new-style rural areas, aims to make Vietnamese traditional fish sauce and fish sauce-based recipes better known to domestic and international consumers through the network of Vietnamese diplomatic missions abroad, according to Director of the Trade Promotion Center for Agriculture, Nguyen Minh Tien.
“Fish sauce-based dishes are typical Vietnamese cuisine. Visitors will have the chance to taste a wide range of dishes prepared from traditional fish sauce by renowned chiefs,” said Tien.
The event will run through Sunday.
