(VOVworld)- President Tran Dai Quang has handed over decisions to promote 4 high-ranking officers in the Viet Nam People’s Army from Lieutenant Generals and Navy Vice Admiral to Senior Lieutenant Generals.

High-ranking officers promoted to Senior Lieutenant Generals

President Tran Dai Quang said the promotions reflected the Vietnamese Party and State’s recognition of the officers’ contribution to the development of the Vietnam People’s Army. The promoted officers are Deputy Defense Ministers Tran Don and Le Chiem, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army Nguyen Phuong Nam, and Navy Vice Admiral Pham Ngoc Minh.
