Hue recognised as ASEAN clean tourist city
(VOVWORLD) - Hue city in the central province of Thua Thien Hue won the prize for “ASEAN Clean Tourist City” during the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2018 (ATF) last month, said Nguyen Van Phuc, Deputy Director of the city’s Tourism Department.

Meanwhile, Hue’s Pilgrimage Village was given the ASEAN Green Hotel 2018-2020 title. The indicators evaluated in the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Standard include environmental management, cleanliness, waste management, awareness-building about environmental protection and cleanliness, green spaces, health safety and urban safety and security, and tourism infrastructure and facilities.
