(VOVworld) - Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly László Kövér will pay an official visit to Vietnam this Sunday.

His 6-day visit is at the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.

Vietnam and Hungary set up diplomatic ties 65 years ago, and since then have often exchanged high-ranking visits, most recently a visit last November by Hungarian President Ader Janos.

Vietnam and Hungary’s two-way trade totaled 176 million USD in 2014, a year-on-year rise of 19%.
