According to the city administration, many things have been done to ease difficulties for ICT companies with regard to corporate income taxes, added value taxes, and investment in the Quang Trung Software Park and the city’s program to stimulate consumer demand.

Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the HCM City Computer Association, said: “There are several e-government projects but only major enterprises have an opportunity to participate. If the city has incentives for big companies using creative products, they will find ways to cooperate with the small start-ups that generate the creative ideas.”
