(VOVworld) - Global growth prospects are uneven across major economies, says the IMF’s latest World Economic Outlook (WEO). Overall, global growth is forecast at 3.5 percent in 2016. But this aggregate number masks diverse developments. Growth in the United States is projected to exceed 3 percent in 2015–16. Meanwhile analysts predicted that China’s growth will be around 3 to 5% in 2016, much lower than China’s expectations of up to 7% in the next 5 years.
