Indian Government sends aid to Vietnamese flood victims

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung on Friday received the Indian Government’s aid package in support of Vietnamese flood victims in the central region from Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Pranay Verma.

Mr. Verma expressed his sympathy over human and property losses caused by floods in Vietnam’s central region. The gifts, including 3,000 sets of personal goods, are expected to help the flood victims swiftly return to normal activities, he said.

Deputy Foreign Minister Dung thanked the Indian Government and people for the support, saying he believes that the sharing will further deepen the close relations between the two countries.
