(VOVworld) – On Wednesday, the Indonesian government issued a warning to foreign fishing vessels attempting to fish illegally in Indonesia’s waters.

President Joko Widodo said at a cabinet meeting that tough measures will be applied to fishing vessels violating Indonesia’s territory. Jakarta will redouble its efforts to combat illegal fishing, including establishing a task force called Satgas 115 to confront violators and strengthen the fight against foreign trespassers.
