These goals will be presented by the Vietnamese government to a UN forum on sustainable development in 2018. Nghiem Vu Khai, Vice Chairman of the Union, stressed the need of donations from organizations and individuals for the Union’s activities: “We should mobilize contributions, cooperation, and connectivity between the affiliates of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and business, non-governmental organizations, and local agencies. We should call for resources, including finance, manpower, and experiences.”

Meeting 2017 is an annual event organized by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations from 2015 to seek international cooperation in sustainable development.
