President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the Iranian government and the parliament should cooperate to materialize the values of the Islamic revolution. Ahmadinejad said that cooperation between the government and the parliament is necessary to withstand the enemies’s pressure.

Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation Fereydoon Abbasi said on Sunday that Iran wants to build a new nuclear power plant by 2014. He said a 1,000-megawatt plant will be built in Bushehr. He also said Tehran had “no reason” to suspend its enrichment of uranium to 20 percent because Iran produces only as much of the 20 percent fuel as it needs.
