Israel hinders Non-Aligned Movement conference

Israel on Sunday barred four foreign ministers from entering Palestine’s West Bank region through its borders to attend a meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). Israel denied the entries of four foreign ministers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Cuba, who have no diplomatic relations with Israel. The conference invited foreign ministers from 13 members of NAM’s Palestine Committee, which supports Palestine’s plan to achieve full member status at the UN General Assembly session in September.
