Italians vote on constitutional reform

(VOVWORLD) - More than 46 million Italians voted Sunday on whether to reduce the number of MPs in Italy’s two legislative chambers.

Sunday’s referendum was the beginning of a process of constitutional and electoral law reform.

The referendum results could have an impact on the current government’s stability because Italy’s two major parties, the M5S and the PD, strongly disagree about reducing the number of parliamentarians.
