The Swiss Ambassador granted an interview to the press on the occasion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation’s attendance at the WEF in Davos this week.
As this year's theme is “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age”, the political and economic leaders of the world and civil society organizations will discuss the impact of the intelligence community amid the AI boom.
Gass said Switzerland wants to listen to what PM Chinh has to say in terms of his analysis of the global situation and the solutions that Vietnam can propose to the challenges raised by the WEF.
The Vietnamese PM will have a meeting with Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter to discuss the strengthening of the bilateral relationships and the elevation of the bilateral partnership.
According to the diplomat, Switzerland pays great attention to Vietnam’s new strategies on the mobilization of finances for FinTech, the building of international financial centers in Vietnam, and the mobilization of funding into the pharmaceutical industry and innovation for renewable energy and a service-oriented industry in Vietnam.
These are the areas in which Switzerland is strong, giving high priority to enhancing cooperation with Vietnam, he said.
